We are a listener-supported, internet-music radio station. Our mission is to search out and expose great new music to people who otherwise may never encounter it.
Since June 2016 our Streams have broadcasted content to over 179,442 listener connections.
The world of on-demand music streaming has never been more crowded. As more and more listeners shy away from physical recordings in favor of massive online music libraries, music streaming services keep popping up, each offering a varied amount of songs, features, and its own quirks. But only MPG Radio has a choice few that has what it takes to join our rotations of the best music streaming services that stick to traditional no cost music where you have the opportunity to listen to unsigned independent artists.

"Top songs listeners heard updated live on the streams" Artists, Labels and promoters focused on what listener-supported requests on songs accessed on all stations. Our station streams collects listener presence for the purpose of building music popularity. To do this we identify if a connection is active on any particular stream for 1 minute or more. Listening to a stations song for more than one minute adds a "plus one" vote to our database for the station and artist listened. Listenership, promotes the station and the artist, when select music is playing. The more listeners that listen to any given artist, the more listener votes they collect. This in turn feeds the results of our Music Charts, building popular stations and artist music that is streamed on our site.
Follow our stream tweets on twitter or follow us on facebook to easily learn when your favorite artist is playing or visit our playlist page to learn your favorite artists rotations. If we play your music a profile page on our station website can let listeners know about where to buy your music. Stream Tweet is a social media tool that will change the way you promote your music!, an auto "Stream that Tweets" a specific artists music 24 hours a day, 7 Days a week directly to your twitter feed. Any Artist included in our music rotation on any station that has a twitter account can re-tweet their music stream when their music is played, right when it it happens all the time until you choose to stop the service; Twitter followers will be able to listen to your music anytime when it is playing on any of our stations rotations. We encourage you to consider this service.
We ask you to support our independence. To maintain our independence, we will never run ads. We depend on donations averaging about $15. Only a tiny portion of our listeners give; if everyone listening to our stations donated $3, we could keep MPG Radio thriving on for years and allow us in turn to continue to support and promote artists. The price of a coffee is all we need. It's a little awkward to be asking this as we are sure you are deeply involved in enjoying your personal time and we don't want to interrupt you, but there's never an easy time to remind listeners that giving to MPG Radio not only supports a service that is used by many, it helps keep a neutral internet alive and thriving. We can't afford to feel embarrassed, asking you to make a donation. We do it in pursuit of open entertainment that's always free, never tracks your personal data and is never sold off to the corporate world. Supporting new music is something to be proud of, if you ask us. We rely entirely on you to keep us on the air. We'll be there for you, as MPG Radio is entirely listener-supported and in the case you feel the same, we give you the chance to say thank you by making a small donation.

Radio broadcasts leave Earth at the speed of light. Scroll away from Earth and hear how far the biggest hits of the past have travelled. The farther away you get, the longer the waves take to travel there—and the older the music you’ll hear.
